The Facebook page of the RA Government informs that 24 April in France is declared the Commemoration Day of the Armenian Genocide.
“France, above all, is a country that looks the history in the face, and was among the first nations to denounce the murderous hunt of the Armenian people. France is a country that in 1915 called genocide for what it was, and which after long debates, recognized it by law in 2001 and in the coming weeks, April 24 will declared a national day of commemoration of the Armenian Genocide,” President Emmanuel Macron said.
