The RA Law on Whistleblower’s System regulates the protection of the personal data of the whistleblower when submitting anonymous reports and the judicial protection of the affiliated persons.
Persons providing anonymous reports are guaranteed the secrecy and non discloser of the identity of the personal data when submitting reports to both the competent authority and other persons, except where the whistleblower discloses his or her personal information.
The competent authority shall not have the right to take action to disclose the personal data of the reporting person who submitted an anonymous report.
The reporting person, against whom malicious action has been taken, has the right to judicial protection.
An affiliate person who has been harmed due to the link with the reporting person has the right to judicial protection.
The judicial protection of the reporting person and related affiliated persons shall be carried out in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
