According to the National Security Service of Armenia, the head of the Medical and Social Expertise Agency Armen Soghoyan and the head of the department of the same agency Armen Petrosyan were arrested on suspicion of bribery.
According to initial information, a corruption scheme has been formed and initiated in the agency for a long period of time, under which the officials received bribes and transferred them to their superiors.
The Armenian Young Lawyers’ Association was raising the issue of the scheme for years. In addition, the citizens, who applied to the Association, won in the courts and restored their rights.
