“The four-day war in April, arouse many questions and concerns, as well as revealed undue cosmopolitan political figures to our society,” Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said today at the National Assembly.
In his view, there are a lot o issues to discuss, criticize and worry about within the scope of the society and political power. He said the government is looking to the future, trying not to forget the past. “We need to be very alert and responsible. In the nearest future we shall make a comprehensive statement. And all the reforms that should be implemented in 2016, we shall make changes in the strategy and introduce them,” he said.
He also added that this situation should not be used for populism. “”The result cannot be effective, have no positive outcome for our state. This was a lesson, which showed that the Diaspora, Armenia and Artsakh are together when there is a problem. These words should turn into action. I call on all political forces of the NA to get together and discuss without the press. Why so, because as soon as you see the media, or see the microphone you become a different person. This does not apply to all,” the Prime Minister concluded.
