Russian media outlets, referring to Azerbaijani sources, report that the Azerbaijani side has destroyed 6 Armenian tanks and 15 artillery weapons and causing numerous losses on the Armenian side. However, spokesman of the RA Minister of Defense Artsrun Hovahnnisyan told Iravaban.net that this information is false and that accurate information will be released soon.
A. Hovhannisyan has also posted the following on his Facebook page, “The RA Ministry of Defense officially announces that the information released through various Azerbaijani media outlets on the Azerbaijani Armed Forces having occupied different settlements in the NKR territory and the Armenian side bearing tens of losses of military equipment and hundreds of living force losses is obvious piece of disinformation and has nothing to do with the reality. The enemy was forced to confess to his losses and just tries to find an excuse for them in the eyes of the public. In order to receive credible information on the developments the RA Ministry of Defense just advises to follow solely the official announcements of the Armenian side.”
