One can often meet cars providing taxi services in the street. Some of the drivers put various promotional posters or other objects that are also advertising.

According to Article 124.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences, the result of breaking the form of installing advertisements results in imposing a penalty equal to thirty times of the minimum salary (30.000 AMD).
The RA Law on Advertising provides requirements for the advertisement pursuant to which advertisement shall be legal, reliable and proper. In addition to this, advertising language in Armenia is Armenian.
Advertising presentation should ensure the purity of the literary Armenian, maintain the fixed linguistic rules. In the RA advertisement introduced only in a foreign language is prohibited. According to Article 12 of the same law, Advertisements are located on means of transportation with the consent of their owners.
For the reasons of traffic security the government of the Republic of Armenia makes restrictions concerning the placement of separate advertisements on means of transportation.
