It is already the second week, that in the Court of the First Instance, the session on the case of the former Head of Judiciary department and 12 employees is being delayed. Today, at 12:00, the following session should take place but presiding judge Karine Ghazaryan entered the court room and told the parties that judge Vazgen Rshtuni had a business trip and now is ill. According to her, Mr. Rshtuni would be able to join them an hour later. So the session was delayed.
It should be mentioned that on July 18, The Court of the First Instance presided by the judge Arshak Vardanyan, made a sentence on this case. The defendants were accused of creating a criminal group and stealing 115 million AMD from the government.
