Rumours have been circulating on the Internet that the citizens are receiving calls from a source with the code “+252”.
It is mentioned that when the telephone network users call back they lose money. The operators confirmed this information during the interview they gave to Iravaban.net.
VivaCell-MTS has reported that such calls are permanent. As of now, calls with the code “+252” have not been registered but the company recommends to demonstrate vigilance. In particular, they advise against answering such calls and returning them. The same advice has been given by Orange Armenia.
Beeline Armenia has confirmed that such calls have been registered in their network, and the warning is the same: Just do not respond to calls from unknown numbers.
Thus, regardless of the code, if the number is unknown to you, it is recommended not to respond and return the call.
