The spouses, 46-year-old Ruben and 44-year-old Armine (the names are changed) are at the dock for beating and causing each other physical injuries.

According to the case materials, on the evening of 27 January, 2009, Ruben quarreled with his wife. He beat her causing light damage to her chest, upper limbs, up to hemorrhage and hypodermic injuries.

On the same day, during the quarrel, Armine hit her husband’s left shoulder and other parts of the body with a swab causing physical injury to his 5th finger of the right wrist.

Some time later there was another dispute. This time, on the evening of  13 February, Armine quarreled with her sister-in law. She hit her on the head with the handbag and shoved, causing serious injuries to her body.

Then Ruben quarreled with Armine deliberately hitting on the latter’s hands, chest and head after which the woman fell on the ground and hit her head on the open garage gate getting body injury of utmost gravity.

This case was examined by Gagik Poghosyan, the judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Communities. The criminal cases against the spouses were closed in compliance with the decision of the NA on ”Amnesty announcement” Clause 5, Sub-clause 1.
