Former Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan has passed away

Former Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, adviser to the RA President Armen Movsisyan died yesterday, at the age of 53. This news has been confirmed by the office of ARP.

He suffered from cancer. He died in Germany where he had been getting treatment.
Armen Movsisyan was born on 13 January 1962 in the city of Kapan.

From 18 April 2001 to 30 April 2014 he held the position of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.

On 7 May 2014, he was appointed as adviser to the RA President.

Armen Movsisyan was a member of the Republican Party.
