The RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a number of decrees on awarding representatives of different spheres on the occasion of the Independence Day.
The RA Military Prosecutor, Deputy Prosecutor General of the RA Artavazd Harutyunyan, was awarded the Medal of “Mkhitar Gosh” for the input of in strengthening the law and order. Deputy Chairman of the RA Special Investigation Committee, head of the Investigative Department on Especially Important Case, Colonel Vahagn Harutyunyan was awarded the rank of Major-General of Justice. Mechanic Locksmith of the Fifth Degree of the ore crashing and transportation division of “Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Plant” CJSC Andranik Haytapetyan was awarded the Medal of “Merit in Work”.
Soldiers, officers, teachers, artists and athletes received different awards as well.
