Pursuant to Article 28 of the RA Civil Procedure Code, “The participants of the case shall have the right to: familiarize themselves with case materials, make excerpts, receive carbon copies thereof, taking into account the requirements of Article 8 of Code and other laws.”
Article 93 (2) of the Code provides another opportunity to familiarize with the materials of the case. According to it “Where the documents attached to the statement of claim are large in number or it is difficult to copy them, the court shall notify other participants of the case that those documents are deposited with the court, so as they are able to familiarize themselves with those documents. The notice shall include the term for familiarizing with the documents.”
In order to familiarize with the materials of the case the written application shall include the following information: the number of the case, the parties to the case and the request to the court for the permission to familiarize with the documents.
