“No to Plunder!” Civil Initiative is developing some activities. Ara Karagyozyan, the lawyer of the initiative informs. He said that the discussions were still going on and there were no finalized decisions yet.
“When the discussions are over, and we have clear plans, we shall inform the public,” our interlocutor said. According to him the option of the street struggle was being discussed as well.
To our question whether “No to Plunder” initiative stops the fight, Ara said that there was no such decision yet, and the Initiative should continue insisting its requirements and achieve their fulfillment.
According to the lawyer of the Initiative no one of the demonstrators, who were arrested on 17 September, had signed under the Police protocols.
It is due to note that “No to Plunder!” Civil Initiative demands to annul the decision on raising the electricity tariffs and punish the police, including the high ranking officials, who applied force against the citizens during the demonstration on 23 June.
