On January 1, at 01:09, the regional crisis management center of Kotayk was alerted that a cottage was on fire in the village of Artavaz.

Two combat units from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications went to the scene.

The fire was isolated at 01:52, extinguished at 02:35. The wooden structures of the roof (about 35 square meters) and the ceiling were partially burnt.
