More than 90% of the “Delta” strain of coronavirus is circulated in Armenia, the RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stated at the briefing with journalists.
“Taking into account the aggressiveness of the” Delta “strain, the existence of its difficult course, we can say that we do not have an increase in mortality percentage as a result of the high professional quality and tireless work of our doctors,” the minister said.
COVID-19: as of 11:00 a.m. on 28 October,
- 2,307 new cases,
- 15,818 tests,
- 962 recovered,
- 38 deaths.
Thus, a total of 302,450 cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed, of which 264,678 recovered. 30,303 patients receive actual treatment.
A total of 6,189 deaths from coronavirus have been reported. The total number of deaths due to other diseases is 1,280.
A total of 2,048,128 tests were performed.
