On 7 November, conscript Arsen Davtyan died in the village of Karin Tak on the outskirts of Shushi. Arsen was drafted into the army on July 2, 2020. He was a soldier for 2 months. The mother had not seen her son in a military uniform, she could not go to the swearing-in ceremony, Arsen called his mother and said: “Mom dear, congratulate your son, I have sworn to serve the Republic of Armenia.”
“He called his brother and said, ‘Brother, I’m injured. I’m in the Shushi field. I’ve been wounded in three places. I cannot call mother. Tell my mother that I am sorry and that I love you all very much,” Arsen’s mother Armine Harutyunyan tells.
Arsen Davtyan was born on 24 November, 2001. “I celebrated his birthday in the cemetery, I took the cake so that my son could blow out the candles there,” the mother says.
