The Russian Defense Ministry has reported the first case of ceasefire violation. Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced that Azerbaijan had launched offensive operations in the south of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The ceasefire was violated for the first time in Nagorno-Karabakh since the end of hostilities and the beginning of the Russian peacekeeping operation in the region. This is stated in the bulletin of the Russian Ministry of Defense published on Saturday.
“The Russian contingent of peacekeeping forces continues to carry out tasks on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. At twenty-three observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire regime. On 11 December, one case of violation of the ceasefire in the Hadrut region was recorded,” the bulletin says….
Earlier on Saturday, the Armenian Defense Ministry announced the beginning of Azerbaijan’s offensive operations in the south of Karabakh on 12 December in the direction of the villages of Hin Taglar and Khtsaberd.
