Before the 9 July sitting of the Government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the situation with the coronavirus in the country.

“As of yesterday, the number of new cases of coronavirus in the world has exceeded 100,000 in a day and the total number of cases has exceeded 12 million. Countries that have announced that they have overcome the epidemic of coronavirus, unfortunately, are returning to the most active phase of the epidemic,” the Prime Minister said.

He noted that the World Health Organization announced on 8 July that it considers it confirmed that the infection can be spread through the air.
