Georgia will receive Foreign Tourists from 1 July: Aliq.ge:

At the 7 May sitting of the Georgian government, during the presentation of the post-crisis program, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia presented the restrictions that will be lifted in the near future. Aliq.ge reports.

According to the newspaper:

  • The entrance to the city of Tbilisi will open on 11 May. “All restrictions on entry and exit from Tbilisi are lifted. This does not mean that it is possible to enter or leave the capital during curfews,” Giorgi Gakharia said.
  • From 11 May, all types of workshops and shops will be opened, except for shoe and clothing stores. “From 11 May, we will open all kinds of workshops. All kinds of retail and wholesale stores that have entrance from the street will also be opened. This does not apply to shopping malls,” Gakharia said.
  • The city of Rustavi and the Gardabani region will open on 14 May.
  • Marneuli will open on 18 May
  • Local tourist services will open on 15 June
  • From 1 July, Georgia will be ready to receive foreign tourists.
