As previously reported , Harutyun Grigoryan and his brother, Zaven Grigoryan, were charged in the criminal case of deliberately causing serious harm to the health of serviceman Ara Mkhitaryan.

According to the preliminary investigation, Harutyun and Zaven Grigoryan punched and kicked Ara Mkhitaryan in the head with fist and baton, causing intentional injury to his health.

Zaven Grigoryan’s representative Levon Sahakyan said during a press conference today. “Zaven Grigoryan was not present at the scene at the time of the incident and this is proved by a number of facts, while Ara Mkhitaryan and his friends were under the influence of alcohol.”

Zaven Grigoryan, a defendant in the case, said he would like to tell a lot, but he cannot say much at the moment.

It should be noted that the arrest was chosen as a measure of restraint against the accused Harutyun Grigoryan and Zaven Grigoryan was released on bail days ago.
