The Special Investigation service informs that citizen Hakob M. gave a communication at RA Special Investigation Service on the fact that on April 29, 2015 on suspicion of realization of counterfeit money, being brought to RA Police Vedi Division, the officials of the mentioned division used psychological pressure towards him, threatening to damage the members of his family, demanding to confess the circumstance of realization of especially large amount of counterfeit money, and fearing from it he gave confession testimonies not corresponding to the reality on the crime not committed by him in reality.
On incident of exceeding official powers by RA Police officials a criminal case is instituted at RA Special Investigation Service pursuant to part 1, Article 309 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is carried out.
