An action has been brought to the court against the former Head of the Road Police Margar Ohanyan, with a claim to return the property from illegal position, informs “Datalex” judiciary information system.
Claimant Marine Khachatryan has applied to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Avan and Nor Nork Administrative Districts with a demand to return from illegal possession the bulldozer Komatsu D -355 that belonged to her on property right. However, the court, presided by Judge Armenuhi Badiryan refused to accept the claim, arguing that it violated rules on jurisdiction.
Marine Khachatryan applied with the same claim to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative Districts, which accepted the claim and on 26 February it was assigned to consideration by Judge Aleksey Sukoyan.
Notably, the plaintiff filed a motion for protective measure, and the court granted a motion by forbidding the defendant to perform certain actions.
The next court session is scheduled for 5 August.
It is due to notice that Margar Ohanyan was sentenced to 6 years in prison in 2012 for abuse of official position by means of large-scale theft of state property. On 8 October 2013, he was released under amnesty.
