“There is no need to appeal, and what to appeal when Vardan Petrosyan is ready to cover the costs for restoration of Tatevik Hakobyan’s health,”Vardan Petrosyan’s advocate Nikolay Baghdasrayan said in the interview with Irtavaban.net.
Commenting on the appeal of the complaint, namely the fact that the victim’s and the victim’s successors’ legal representative Ruben Baloyan had filed a complaint on the civil claim, Mr. Baghdasaryan said, “We made a step in that regard, saying that if the amount that you require is to cover hospital treatment for Tateik Hakobyan, then we are ready to pay all the costs of hospital and Varadn Petrosyan will pay. So there is no dispute in this regard.”
Notably the representatives of the injured party and their successors demand to extract from the Vardan Petrosyan a sum of 12Million 500 thousand AMD in their civil suit. The sum includes the costs for treatment of the victim of the accident Tatevik Hakobyan, as well as other losses caused to the injured party, and also the costs for the advocates. The first instance court has not considered the civil suit, and the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal in this regard.
According to Nilolay Baghdasaryan the appeal is artificial.
