Is it Possible to renew in the Job after the Military Service?

Many cases happen when a person returning from the military service finds himself unable to regain his former job and faces a series of problems. The RA Labor Code determines that upon the temporary military service of an employee no later, then three calendar days prior to the date mentioned in the relevant notice,   the employer temporarily terminates employment relations and the employment contract with the employee for the entire period of the service.

After the discharge from the army the employee may apply to the employer for renewal of employment relations and signing of a new employment contract within one month. In case the employee applies to the employer within the mentioned term the employer shall sign a new employment contract within three days the conditions of which shall not be less favorable for the employee than the conditions of the previous contract.

During the performance of the military registration, affiliation to the military detachments and participation in the military exercises the employment relations with the employee are regulated in order established by the law.
