Some circumstances are revealed about the criminal case initiated in the Investigation Department of Ajapnyak and Davtashen Administrative Districts of RA Investigative Committee about the citizen E. Jaburyan injured by gunshot in front of the night club. The information is provided by the RA Investigative Committee.
The preliminary investigation showed that on 31 March, 2015, at about 3:30 am, during the quarrel taken place in front of the night club situated at the crossroads of Margaryan and Fuchik streets, an unknown person fired the gun in E. Jaburyan’s direction causing him abdominal penetrating injuries.
The identity of the criminal is revealed. The latter is a resident of Ajapnyak administrative district. He was accused for assassination attempt and for illegally keeping a gun according to Part 1 of Articles 34-104 and according to Part 1 of Article 235 of the RA Criminal Code. Arrest was decided as measure of restraint. The person is wanted by the police.
The preliminary investigation is in process. The committee undertakes the necessary investigative activities to ensure the comprehensive and complete investigation of the case. The respective units of the police are ordered to take measures to find out the criminal.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
