On 11-13 April, the 13th high congress on ‘’Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice’’ organized by the the UN Office on Drugs and Crime has taken place in the capital of Qatar Doha. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, Prime Minister and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani made an opening speech, informs the Ministry of Justice.
In the high congress Armenia was represented by the RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ashot Hovakimyan and the Deputy Minister of Justice Arman Tatoyan. In his speech A. Hovakimyan affirmed the RA commitment to go on with reforms in the sphere of justice, as well as to continue the effective fight against human trafficking, illegal circulation of drugs, terrorism, cyber crime and other displays of transboundry crime in the framework of the international cooperation.
