Relatives of Ashot Arushanyan, who was found guilty of the theft of 56 million 400 thousand AMD, recently went on a hunger strike. Today, Ashot Arushanyan’s father Lavrenti Arushanyan sends an open letter to the RA President.
He mentioned in the letter that they had lost faith to the judicial system of the country and asked the President for an audience. He also informed that among them were children with health problems and they would like to present the evidences of their son’s innocence to the president. The letter then says that they were ready to go on and continue the hunger strike for months unless their son is illegally arrested. The parents applied to the president with request to punish the real offenders and mentioned that the President was their only hope.
