The RA President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today participated in the solemn session of the Board at the Minister of Defense of the RA and the 23rd anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Army, which took place in the Administrative Complex of the RA Ministry of Defense, the official website of the RA President informs.
Before the speeches the participants honored the memory of the Armenian soldiers who died protecting the borders of the Republic of Armenia as well as the memory of all the perished during the past years of Artsakh freedom fight.
During the Session which referred to the results of combat and mobilization preparedness, military duty, and the operational and combat preparedness of the army and staffs in 2014, President Serzh Sargsyan held an opening speech.
