On the night of 15 January, Stepanavan Police Department received information from the hospital that Levon H. (DoB 1994) and Samvel Sh. (DoB 1993) applied to the hospital with cut and stab wounds on the lower part of the chest.
The operative group which arrived to the place learned that on the same day at about 02:00, on the way from Vanadzor to Spitak a man of about 25-30 years of age had stopped thier “Opel Vectra” vehicle and asked to take him to Spitak. When they refused to do it the latter began to quarrel. 3 or 4 young fellows also approached them and one of them stabbed Levon Hand Samvel Sh.
As a result of the undertaken measures the police revealed that on 15 January at 02:00 Emin P. (DoB 1991) and his friend (information is being identified) quarreled with Samvel Sh. And his friends Vasil K., Armen Z. and Levon H. near the night club and during the quarrel stabbed him by a knife causing severe damage for health (according to the forensic medical expertise) and Levon H. causing him sever damage with threat for the life (according to the forensic medical expertise), and after that escaped from the place of the crime.
Measures are taken to find the other participants in the incident.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offense is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
