At today’s Parliamentary Hearings, the RA Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan answered to the questions of the MPs. Deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan asked whtere a criminal case had been initiated on the fact of Permyakov’s attempt to cross the State Border of the RA.
The MP argued that the RA National Security Service should have to participate in the process of Permyakov’s arrest. In the opinion of the MP an illegal transfer of Permyakov to the RF Law enforcement bodies took place. She stressed that the individuals who committed this illegal act should be punished, including the representations of NSS service as well. She also said she would give a report of offense on the activities of the RA and RF border guards, which according to her, had acted illegally.
The RA Prosecutor General answered, “This circumstance is just the necessary grounds that I must have. We must make the issue of discussion whether Permyakov legally of illegally appeared on the border, etc. Just that will be sufficient ground for me to have a reasoned application to the RF Prosecutor General. When we shall have all the evidence that are necessary under the criminal case. The circumstances will be clarified in the framework of the criminal and the issue of liability will be raised.”
Gevorg Kostanyan answered to other questions as well. He said that it was everyone’s problem and everyone will carry out their functions.
