Active investigative and juridical activities on the fact of the murder of 6 members of Avetisyans’ family in Gyumri on 12 January are going on to reveal all the circumstances of the incident, informs the Investigation Committee of the RA
The investigation group is in Gyumri and conducted additional examination of the crime site. A number of forensic material and biological, medical, as well as ballistic, traceological and chemical complex examinations were conducted as well
The police was instructed to examine the neighboring to the crime site places to find out the existence of video devices and in case of being such to see whether they had recorded anything and to present those to the body conducting the proceeding.
The cellura phone operators were asked to provide all entering and outgoing phone calls to the phones of Avetisyans’ family members as there is a cause to assume that the criminal might have used these phones.
Also measures are being undertaken to find out the criminal’s possible hiding places and his ways to the boarder, the circumstances of his arrest as well as the direction of his movement towards Avetisyan’s house after he left the territory of the military base.
The criminal had entered Avetisyans’ house by removing and breaking the window glasses of the entrance door
Additional examination of the murder site revealed 28 pcs of shot capsule, 2 pcs not shot bullets, one cartridge with bullets, «AKC 74» type rifle, and military uniform with the logo of the Russian Armed Forces.
