The RA Government decision on the approval of the list of the RA traffic rules prohibiting the operation of vehicles and the list of defects and conditions provides the process of training of driving, according to which
1. Initial training for driving a vehicle should be conducted in closed areas or in autodroms.
2. The training drive on the roads is permitted only with the trainer in case if the trainee has sufficient driving skills. The student should know and be able to maintain the traffic rules.
3. Individual instructor shall hold a driving license for the vehicles of that category
4. Individuals trained to drive a vehicle or a motorcycle must be at least 16 years of age.
5. Training runs are allowed on the roads determined by local authorities (the Mayor in Yerevan City).
