Advocate Tigran Atanesyan has written in his Facebook page:
“I am unable to undertake the protection of the ex-Director General of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimenko which is considered in the framework of the criminal case, which is in the proceeding of the NSS. As I had already mentioned previously, Judge A. Bektashyan of Cour of Center Community considers my corresponding complaint, however actually the court trial does not take place because the representatives of NSS do not attend the hearing. Perhaps they are governed by, let’s say some decision of the central Committee of the USSR dated 1933. I cannot understand this stubborn refusal and positions. At this stage a few documents should be provide to me: the decisions on involving as a defendant, decisions of search and arrest, investigation opinions, etc. We only have to assume what these documents can contain that the NSS does not want to provide to the defense for familiarization.”
