On 17 December, in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative districts, the accused Hayk Kyureghyan again met the Judge Armen Bektashyan without standing up from place. Hayk Kyuregyan’s advocate Ara Zakaryan had not attended the regular court sitting again. The judge asked the defendant whether he would like to refuse the advocate’s services. Hayk Kyurghyan answered positively again f\without standing up.
The judge warned the defendant that he could be removed the courtroom, in case of breaking the rules again and answer the judges questions from place. “My decision remains the same, I do not respect the court as I consider it a toy court, someone’s pocket Court,” said the defendant.
The judge decided to remove Haig Kyoureghyan from the courtroom for then hours. When the defendant came out, several people left the hall noisily. The judge continued the trial in absentia of the defendant and decided to involve a public defender for the latter. The court hearing was delayed. It will be continued next year on 14 January 2015.
