On 16 December a closed demonstration of the video of Azerbaijani torture against the Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan took place on the initiative of the Ombudsman. The video recorded in Azerbaijan was confiscated from the Azerbaijani subversives and provided to the Ombudsman by the defense Ministry.
Representatives from a number of diplomatic missions and organizations (Great Britain, Germany, France OSCE, Council of Europe and United Nations) were present.
Armen Grigoryan, Deputy Ombudsman for Military Affairs expressed his deep concerns about the inhuman treatment against Hakob Injighulyan and all the Armenian captives in general in Azerbaijan.
Issues of the soldiers’ rights were discussed at the meeting as well
