The Criminal Investigation service of the RA informs that in August 2014, citizen Gegham G. illegally bought from an unknown person and kept in his garage 300 packages of marijuana with the weight of 0.7 grams each, total 210 grams. The total cost of the drug was 1.400.000AMD. Gegham G used a part of the drugs and smoked, and the remaining 147 grams in 210 packages sold on different days for the cost of 10 AMD each, to the student of the Police educational complex in the period of August – November 2014. The latter in his turn sold the packages to other people with the cost of 15.000AMD each.
The Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia has initiated a criminal case with regard of the fact based on the materials received from the Police of the Republic of Armenia pursuant to Clause 2 of Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Preliminary investigation is in process.
