Today, the Conference “Development of E-Governance Management in Armenia”, which marked the completion of “E-Armenia” project was launched in Yerevan. The RA Government and the EU Delegation in Armenia jointly organized the conference. The Information service of the RA Government informs this. Davit Harutyunyan, Minister-Chief of Government Staff read greeting message of the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan for the participants.
Further the Minister-Chief of Government Staff made a report “Electronic Preparadness-2014”, which presents information about the current level of development of of information society in our country, the current development of electronic services as well as the future steps in this direction. The European experts who participated in the conference in their reports referred to the developments in European e-government and the e-democracy. During the conference the ‘e-citizen.am” electronic portal was presented as well.
“Transactional e-Governance Development in Armenia” project was launched in 2012 (project duration 24 months). Project funded by the European Union project budget is € 1,4 million.
