On the night of 11 – 12 December, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime and opened fire. The Press Service of NKR Defense Ministry informs that around 204 cases of violation of the took place and more than 2200 shots were recorded. In particular, the eastern front the enemy made 24 shots from the 82 and 60 mm mortars.
NKR Defense Ministry also informs that the enemy used snipers in different sections of the frontline (around 144 shots), machineguns (around 820 shots), and other weapons. The defense Army frontier units undertook necessary measures of adequate response and kept the situation under control.
The RA Defense Ministry informed that shootings towards the frontier guard of the Armed Forces of the RA.
The Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannusyan informed to Iravaban.net that more than 170 violations had taken place. He also informed that the Armenian side has no casualties and found it difficult to provide information about enemy’s losses. Armenian side silenced the enemy’s fire.
