The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 08.00 on 6 December all roads in the territory of the RA are mainly passable.
The road Sotk-Qarvachar is barely passable. There are icy conditions on some sections of the road in Vardenyats Pass and Yerevan-Sisyan highway. In order to ensure safety of traffic, some processing operations of the roads with salt and sand are carried out.
The RA Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends traveling with winter tires, using the designated areas only when absolutely necessary.
According to the information provided by the Emergency Situations Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs the road Stepantsminda-Lars is open for all kinds of transportation means in case of using the tire chains.
