The Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that as a result of preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated under the provision of Clause 1 of Part 3 of Article 178 of the RA Criminal Code, it was revealed that Vardan Yeritsyan, reached preliminary agreement with a certain Mushegh had theft by swindling from Armen Sargsyan around 124.324.824 million AMD equivalent to 270.148 USD, the cost of about 2500 meters of pipe of 1200-1400 millimeters in diameter.
Vardan Yeritsyan, Director of “Feofos” CJSC, reached preliminary agreement with certain Mushegh, with intention to commit theft in significant amount or appropriation of somebody’s property rights by cheating or abuse of confidence, told Armen Sargsyan and the latter’s friends that he had won the tender for dismantling of the pipeline, which pass through the territory of Kaputan-Jraber communities. However the pipeline was in the balance of “HayRusGasard” CJSC, which in 2005 had not authorized the dismantling work of the pipeline to any company. Yeritsyan reached an agreement with the Armen Sargsyan and others to sell them 2500 meters of the pie which would be dismantled. Further 930.27 meters pipes of 1200-1400 millimeters in diameter were dismantled illegally from the mentioned gas pipeline and as a proof of the ownership right for the pipes compiled the false invoice in the name of mentioned above CJSC and provided it to Arthur Qananyan, Armen Sargsyan’s client and received 47.589.395 AMD which is equivalent to 103.407 thousand USD.
Further by cheating and abuse of Armen Sargsyan’s and his partners’ confidence he showed them 1500 meters of pipes of 1200-1400 millimeters, which actually did not belong to him and sold this lot to them for 76.735.429 AMD (which is equivalent to 166.740 thousand USD). Thus causing them total 124.324.824 million AMD equivalent to 270.148 USD property damage.
The investigator who completed the preliminary investigation of the criminal case on Vardan Yeritsyan’s part handed the accusation to the supervising prosecutor to confirm it and to send to the court. Preliminary investigation of circumstances on certain Musheg and others continues.
