On October 7 Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, in the framework of his working visit to Paris, had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of France Laurent Fabius. We get this information from the official site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
The Nagorno-Karabakh peace process was on the agenda of the negotiations. Edward Nalbandian, commending the constructive engagement of France and the other Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, Russia and the United States, aimed at the exclusively peaceful resolution of the conflict. Edward Nalbandian and Laurent Fabius touched upon the preparatory works of the Paris meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, initiated by the President of France and scheduled at the end of October.
In this context Edward Nalbandian reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to continue the joint efforts with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and France expressed satisfaction that the bilateral relations are on a high level to which the high-level mutual visits greatly contribute.
The sides discussed a number of pressing international and regional issues.
