Press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that on September 8 the Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan received the newly-appointed ambassador of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan – Mohammed Nur Osman Yusuf Balkar (residence in Tashkent), who presented the copies of his letters of Accredition.
Congratulating the ambassadorm Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan expressed hope that with his work Ambassador Balkar will contribute to the further development and deepening of the traditional friendly Armenian-Jordan relations.
Ambassador of Jordan assured that he would undertake measures to extend bilateral cooperation.
Nalbandyan and Balkar exchanged ideas on the events in the Middle East – on the Syrian crisis, continuing violence by the Iraki extremists in the northern Iraq and on regulation efforts.
RA Minister presented priorities of Armenia`s foreign policy and RA approaches towards resolution of regional issues.
