The officers of the Central and Yerevan Criminal Prosecution departments of the Police of the Republic of Armenia jointly with Moscow law-enforcement officers detected and arrested 1971-born Erik A. next to the Sukhovski lane 78 building in Moscow at 12:30 on August 20. He was under prosecution by the Central department of the Police since August 1, 1999 based on the charges of Paragraph 1, Part 3, Article 175 /Banditry/and of part 1, Article 235 / illegal procurement, transportation, or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices/ of the RA Criminal Code.
Note. Everyone charged with a criminal offense shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
