Targeted social contributions of those receiving minimum monthly wages will be refunded in 597 communities

As the Department of Public Relations of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration informs, the state will refund targeted social contributions of the people born after 1974 and receiving minimum monthly wages working in community budget institutions and community-financed non-commercial organizations.

With this purpose under the RA Government decision N 792 the Ministry of Territorial Administration and the Municipalities have been provided with around 197 million 860.8 thousand drams.  The money will be provided to 597 communities.
The community budgets of 2014 have been formed based on the then-operating minimum monthly wages of 45.000 drams. According to the changes input in the current year in the RA Law on “Minimum monthly wages” the minimum monthly wage has been set for 50.000 drams starting from July 1, and according to the requirements of the RA law on “Accumulative Pension” in the Local self-governing system community budgets have not planned allocations for additional budget expenses resulted by the targeted social fee payments of those born after January 1, 1974 and receiving minimum monthly wages.

The Ministry of Territorial Administration has developed this decision with the purpose of assisting communities in ensuring their budget performance and carrying out their budget responsibilities in the defined period of time in order not to accumulate additional debts.
