A group of 35 Armenian peace keepers shall leave for Kosovo on 6 July: They shall be located near the city Uroshevats in the US military station “Bondstell” and shall stay there for six months on rotation basis, to implement their mission in the zone of East Peacekeepers military group of the US.
Our peacekeepers shall carry out patrol services to ensure security of the passage posts, as well as to administer and convoy the crowds.
The Armenian peace keepers who were carrying out such mission since 2004 were temporarily removed since February 2012, in result of reduction of the peace keepers’ contingent.
