The Armenian Lawyers’ Association (ALA) Board held its year-end meeting on December 20 in a hybrid format, chaired by ALA President Karen Zadoyan. Board members Marat Atovmyan, Karen Kocharyan, Arpine Yeghikyan, and Astghik Matinyan participated in the meeting.
As the first agenda item, the ALA President presented the organization’s 2024 activity report. Emphasis was placed on the results achieved by the organization’s projects in 2024, important international visits and meetings held during the year. Karen Zadoyan also spoke about the work and results of the specialized news outlet iravaban.net operated by ALA.
The board members then discussed the results of membership fee payments by ALA members during 2024.
Special attention was paid to organizational issues regarding the international legal congress planned for 2025. Karen Zadoyan and Marat Atovmyan gave presentations on this topic. Board members presented their suggestions and observations regarding the effective organization of the congress.
Other current issues were also discussed at the end of the meeting.
