We reported earlier that the Frankfurt-Yerevan flight operated by the Lufthansa airline was delayed for more than 1 day. One of the passengers raised the alarm, saying that at that moment they were in a very difficult situation. The direction should be from Vilnius to Frankfurt, from Frankfurt to Yerevan.
On the night of 26 June, there was an attempt to leave from Frankfurt to Yerevan, the plane took off, circled in the air for an hour and a half, and returned to the same airport. It was reported that the flight is canceled at the moment.

In particular, she stated the following: “There was a delay, the plane flying to London left through our gate, our plane was spinning and spinning in place for exactly 2 hours. After that, at 00:00, we were told that we should get out of the plane and there would be no flight. We got out, everything was closed at the airport, we just stayed there, after a long fight we were given some “cots” and told that that was all.”
Our interlocutor mentioned that after that she also tried to solve the issue related to the compensation for the missed flight, which amounted to around 400 Euros, to which they said: “You did not go to the hotel, give the receipts of the hotel, and we will return the money.”
As for staying in a hotel, we were told that they could not provide it, because all hotel rooms were occupied due to the Euro 2024 games.
People were unable to do anything for 24 hours, most of them were with their children, and there were also people whose visas expired on that very day.
According to preliminary data, the delayed flight from Frankfurt am Main to Yerevan will be on 28 June.
According to her, the passengers were told that the flight did not take place due to weather conditions, but a plane flew to Yerevan half an hour before that. She also added that the airport security staff were rude to the passengers of the flight.
Added.: Passengers were informed that they have to wait another 40 minutes, the flight would be on 28 June at 00:10 Yerevan time.
