Today, the court hearing in the case of Vazgen Manukyan took place in the Criminal Court of the First Instance of the City of Yerevan presided by judge Vahe Misakyan.

Vazgen Manukyan’s Facebook page informs.

“The court found Vazgen Manukyan guilty and sentenced him to a fine of AMD 400,000.

Vazgen Manukyan’s advocates Erik Aleksanyan and Aram Vardevanyan announced that they will appeal the verdict.

The defenders demand an acquittal.

It should be reminded that Vazgen Manukyan was charged under Article 301 of the RA Criminal Code (Public calls for seizing state power by force, violating territorial integrity, changing the constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia by force).”
