In response to the information circulated on social networks and mass media, we inform you that the Baghanis-Voskepar highway was closed to ensure the demining works carried out in the adjacent area and to prevent the citizens from entering the nearby mined areas, in order to ensure the safety of the latter.

“Border demarcation works are planned today in the Baghanis-Voskepar sector. We also inform that the news that any part of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia will be handed over to Azerbaijan do not correspond to reality.

We emphasize that no change in the Armenia-Azerbaijan contact line is planned today. After the demarcation of the border, the protection of the border line will be transferred to the RA Border Guard Troops,” the statement reads.
