The PAP Leader is charged under Article 154.2 of the Criminal Code: giving bribes to voters, receiving bribes, violating the ban on charity during elections or obstructing the exercise of free will of the voter.

Prosecutor Davit Aghajanyan presented the available documents in order.
The tables in the relevant documents, showed the given marz, in this case it was Gegharkunik, the mentioned region of the marz. Each list included the section with the data of the respondents, presenting their names, dates of birth, passport data and phone numbers.
He presented the data of the tables in the documents, separately noting the names, surnames, patronymics of all the persons, the available data, some of which referred to the data received from the electoral commission of the said precinct during the years 2014 and 2017.
The other documents are also compiled with the above content, the data of the specific marz, community: the results of the electoral precincts No. 35 of 2 April, 2017 elections.
Next, there is a corresponding document, in which the name of the Getashen community of Gegharkunik marz is indicated, the number of the precinct is not filled in: the data of the person in charge is indicated: last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth and passport.
According to Aghajanyan, one of the documents contained the heading “Money allocated to community activists and headquarters officials”, in which April 2012 is indicated as the year, but the date is not indicated. According to the table, personal data numbered from 1 to 5, the amount of money allocated to the person in charge, and the phone number are presented.
According to the data in the next document, the amount given to three of the activists was AMD 30,000.
According to the prosecutor’s presentation, there is a report on the 2017 elections, the community is Verin Getashen, the information of Arakelyan Karen is indicated in the section of responsible person, the number of voters is missing, the amount paid is 220,000 drams, there is also a phone nunber and signature.
A booklet with a corresponding note is included among the documents: NA 2017 Gegharkunik Marz, electoral district number 8, “Tsarukyan Alliance” is marked, dated 4, Vazgen Poghosyan’s photo and data are available.
After presenting the data in the obtained documents, the prosecutor emphasized that both the documents available at the examination level, as well as the declared documents, decisions, and written evidence, as such, have been examined.
In response to the judge’s question about passing to the questioning of witnesses, the plaintiff answered that they can proceed to that stage based on the logic of what kind of motions there will be: it may be possible that some witnesses are questioned during the next court session.
According to the defense side, it is necessary to summarize all the actions, and then decide the course of the interrogation of the witnesses. The court session was postponed.
The next court session in this case will be held on 23 May.
